Service Oil Company was founded in 1922 by Julius Aronson and his son Lewis. Raphael Aronson, the current CEO, is the son of Lewis, and has served in that position since 1961.

Originally located at the intersection of Cameron and Paxton Streets, Service Oil moved to its current location at 3798 Paxton Street in 1952 where it operates a bulk plant with a storage capacity of over 1.5 million gallons of heating oil.

When it was founded Service Oil operated one gasoline service station and delivered kerosene to homes for use in space heaters. Currently we deliver a wide variety of fuels including heating oil and kerosene, diesel fuel and propane. In addition, Service Oil installs and services all types of heating and air conditioning equipment and operates a plumbing department.
